We’re an online education company that guides, trains and mentors entrepreneurs at any age to build their own online business.
- Some students are in their 20s and we have some in their 80s while the majority of our customers are between 35-65.
- We opened our doors in 2011 and have doubled our revenue almost every year. Our products and programs are best in class, incredibly innovative, loved by our customers, and we have some of the highest student success and satisfaction rates in the industry.
- The worldwide market for our online marketing and business-building training products and programs is in the 9-figure range, and we’re poised to tap into it.
- Our last live event drew 350 people from across the world, and our CEO Marisa Murgatroyd is starting to speak on huge stages, bringing our message to the world.
- Our small team already has too many leads to follow-up on, and we have a huge untapped database of existing customers who have never been called.
- This situation will only be amplified as Marisa revs up her speaking career, and gets our message in front of tens of thousands of brand new people each year. While we’re great at what we do — marketing, education and training — we’re not as great at selling. The amount of missed potential here is huge.
This is where you come in.
The position we’re looking to fill is a full time salesperson who can follow-up with warm incoming leads, as well as outreaching to existing happy customers to reactivate them.
But if you don’t have solid sales experience being a top producer, then please don’t apply for this position. If you do have the chops, the skills and the professionalism to handle talking to people about our products and services all day long, then I want to speak to you. (If you don’t have this experience, please don’t waste your time applying, you won’t be interviewed.)
This is a position where results are rewarded.
Ideal candidates will have strong relationship-building, consultative selling and closing skills. You’ll need to contact our leads, understand their vision for their business and their life, and show them powerfully and irrefutably how investing in one of our training programs is the first step to making it happen.
You’ll need the ability to achieve a great outcome for the customer while maximizing your sales performance, all done in a professional and sophisticated manner.
This is a remote, home-based position, and an opportunity to earn serious compensation.
The value proposition is compelling:
- We are moving from an annual launch model for our core product each October to a all-year-round sales model.
- During each year’s annual 3-week launch, our coaching team will close 30-50% of people they talk to. (Note: these are coaches, not well-trained salespeople who understand how to sell.)
- During our launch period, you’ll receive all of the launch leads that you can handle, plus the rest of the leads that come in outside of our launch period.
- Our leads are hungry to build their own online businesses, and looking for a product like ours.
Compensation structure is as follows:
- IMPORTANT: this is a commission only position
- You will receive 2 weeks training before beginning your calls. We’ll pay you a training bonus of $1,500 upon successful completion of your 2 week training period
- We’ll advance you up to $800 at the end of your first week of sales as you fill your pipeline if you haven’t made at least $800 in commissions.
- Your commission on each $2,000 sale is $400 per unit sold, or $500 per unit if you hit 10 sales in the week by EOD Friday
- There is an upsell product at $6,000 that pays a commission of $1,200, or $1,500 per unit if you hit 5 sales in the week by EOD Friday (we estimate that 10% will take that)
Your commissions can hit $250K or more, with no limit in total compensation, plus additional bonuses when other metrics are met. A serious superstar could easily exceed $150,000 in total compensation the first year and more the second year.
Now, before you say “Yeah, but is it reasonable to sell like this?” The answer is YES, it is. And if you’re the right person, you’ll do even better.
Important: Don’t go to the next step if you have not already been a top producer and can prove it. This is a sales position requiring superior phone, communication, and closing skills. If you aren’t in the top 10% everywhere you’ve sold, we just aren’t interested. If you have the stuff of greatness, we will know it right away.
