[VIDEO] Right Product Right Market Right Time: Choose What Type of Experience Product You Want to Create First

If your inbox is anything like mine, ever time you log in, it’s filled with messages trying to sell you something. So today, instead of pitching you something that will cost you money, I want to give you something that will MAKE you money.

I want to give you free access a training I recently made for my Experience Product Masterclass students that they’re going absolutely crazy for.

It’s called “Right Product, Right Market, Right Time” and it will literally:

  • Show you the product idea that will make the most money fastest
  • Short-cut YEARS of effort on your part, and
  • Save you thousands in trial & error, trying to make the wrong idea work

I hope you enjoyed this little taste of what it’s like inside my world and the Experience Product Masterclass!

If this training has been of value and got you thinking about creating a product, program or course, then you can learn more about the Experience Product Masterclass here. I’ve made all of my recent training videos available for you to check out for this weekend only. (Our next annual class starts on Monday, October 29 at 1pm PT!)

  1. Confused Coder

Hi Marisa – first of all, I wanted to say that I’ve really enjoyed your videos and posts. I’m not sure if I’m nailing this assessment correctly, but you seem like a really cerebral geek at heart and I really enjoy working with those kinds of people. It also seems like you really care.

The way things stand right now, I’m thinking of doing your program next year because there are a couple of side things I’m working on that might pan out and I want to devote my full attention to them and seeing if they work out. That said, I thought I had a killer idea that was suggested by colleagues at the software engineering company I work at, but when I did a PoC, no one showed up even though I know it’s a good idea and I can deliver on the promises. The original video course, which I finished, is for non-coders working at a software development company (think project managers, marketing people) who are confused and intimidated by the tech talk and lingo and feel like frauds. I actually walk them through creating an entire web-based database application from scratch, the idea being that if they believe in this initially-preposterous idea that they can actually do and understand this, then they’ll get an enormous self-confidence boost because this stuff will be demystified for them. This coding class is like no others because it doesn’t go into the weeds but it’s not a 10000-foot overview either – it’s a twelve-hour class geared towards non-coders that gives you an amazing degree of fluency for the time you put in. I think I have good oral and written communications skills too (which is often rare for coders).

I think this concept can also be tailored towards non-coder entrepreneurs who need to work with devs for some reason or another, but the videos all say “as a non-coder at the software development company you work at”, so would need to be tweaked.

So after I finished this course and dripped out emails to the people who said they were interested, crickets. (You live in SoCal too and I’m from the Midwest originally, so not sure if it’s a SoCal thing to say you’re interested in something, then never show up, but there you go 🙂 ). I have a cushy software job myself, so I wasn’t under any pressure to make extra revenue, so I’ve let the whole thing languish.

Seems like this might be a good fit for your program (or not – who knows – I suck at marketing so no clue how to reason about this stuff), so would love your take on this. Probably next year after I get this other stuff out of my system.

If you’ve listened to me ramble on this far, thanks and also thanks for everything you’re doing.
