People always ask me about the success habits and practices I use to keep myself feeling positive and productive throughout the day.
Part of my morning routine is the Gratitude Kata: a series of moves to help you embody gratitude in eight dimensions: earth, universe, people, future, past, masculine, feminine and the self.
I learned this from Scott Coady, founder of the Institute for Embodied Wisdom.
I’ve customized his words some to better suit me and you can customize them too:
I’m grateful for the spirit that flows through me, gives me life, form and purpose.
I’m grateful for people, all people. No exceptions.
I’m grateful for the earth that nourishes, supports and sustains me.
I’m grateful for the future — all possibilities.
I’m grateful for the past — all lessons learned, all love received.
I’m grateful for the masculine, the warrior, that gets shit done.
I’m grateful for the feminine, the lover, that creates, connects and flows.
Most of all, I’m grateful to me for being with it all so beautifully.
I taught this to my students at Message to Money Live and ever since then, they’ve been asking for a video.
Take a moment to let me know what you’re most grateful for.
Enjoy!
